Lazy day

I am having one of those do what you like, whenever you like, kind of days. I got up late to find the birds hanging around in the garden waiting for their breakfast.

So far I haven’t got a lot done, although I did catch up with some reading. Also, I vacuumed the stairs, but this didn’t go as smoothly as I expected. My home is still in chaos and I couldn’t find the cordless vacuum so I used one of the others instead. Don’t ask me how many I have. It is unnatural to own so many vacuum cleaners. Anyway, to get back to the point, I placed the machine at the top of the stairs and tried to stretch the tube too far. The cleaner came tumbling down and hit me on the head. Ouch! It hurt quite a lot.
