The South Glen Shiel Ridge

So, this morning we awoke at 04:45 at Ratagan YH and had breakfast before commencing our early morning attack on the ridge.

We parked near the Cluanie Inn and headed off in what looked like we might get a break in the weather (rain forecast).

We managed the first Four Munro's out the planned Seven but had to admit defeat due to the torrential rain and wind.

Good old Scottish Summer weather.

I was keen to continue but the two in my group had other plans so we aborted at Four Tops.

Munro's Creag a' Mhaim, Druim Shionnach, Aonach air Chrith & Maol Chinn-dearg were today's lucky hills.
