A Hive Of Activity

The weather stayed dry long enough to get outside and catch up with some much needed gardening. Grass mown and hedges cut, just in the nick of time too as the heavens opened (again) soon after. Need to catch up with the weeding now, I'm really an organic gardener at heart, I don't like using weed killers, it affects wildlife too much. We must do more to protect it.
Meanwhile, the bees carried on doing their bit, buzzing their way through the calendula. I love watching them, they are quite hypnotic. Again, I'm amazed at how much they tolerated having an iPhone so close !!!
