Feeding time

For this coot chick

Today I went back to help at the sleepover and was doing pond dipping with them

They managed to get lots of things from the pond (including a tin of spam ) and we were also lucky to see lots of birds (although the heron we saw yesterday wasn't back)

There were 2 families of coots nesting, we saw one family building their nest and another with 2 chicks at feeding time

I so wish I'd had my proper camera as this is blurred but still cute
