Sunny Day

Today we were so fortunate to have sunshine and warmth for a change - the light along the Dorset coast was beautiful.

Jack does leave for Burkina Faso on Wednesday having had all the medicals necessary - it really is an adventure for him but he will be back in 6 weeks for a short while .He wanted some shots for his work profile to show him spuddling on the beach at Charmouth which is where his love of geology started with us when he was small.

I sat in the beach tent and read - just started Lyn Macdonald's History of the Somme - not light reading obviously but fascinating. It was bliss to spend an hour like that.
Big lumps in our throats when we dropped Jack off.
