Another Bee at Work

We have so many purple flowers around our apartment that all I have to do is step out the door and I can shoot some bees in action. They are only about 1" long but seem way larger after I crop in on the photos! I'm shooting with my Sony 24-240 lens which is not a macro lens but can get somewhat close. I really should have used my 105G Nikkor macro which I can use on the Sony camera with an adapter. I've tried it out and it does work. Catching these guys is not easy. Usually they don't sit still for long! I have to shoot at 1000 to 2000th of a sec shutter speed to stop them!
