Rainydays and Lampshades

So......there were 4 matching lampshades in our hall and, due to installing an additional light, we needed a fifth. The ones we have in situ are nice but we bought them 3 years ago and it appears that the line is now discontinued. A bit sad...but nothing terrible...right? We can go out and buy a new set of 5 matching ones...right?

Nope!

My wife, isn't a spendthrift by any means but DOES love a challenge like this.
After much research and touring on an extremely wet day......she found similar shades but of the wrong size at B&Q in East Kilbride. Never one to be daunted, she emptied the (substantial), shelf until she found.......right at the very back...hidden there and in hibernation for the duration of the Scottish Summer.........the very last lampshade of the correct style and size!
