Picking cherries

Luckily our old cherry tree managed quite well this year with the difficult weather situation (cold when blooming, wet during the last weeks). From the ground and the ladder we picked our first cherries this season. May be an hour or so, resulting in approx. 4 kilos. Looking at the tree we didn't have the impression to have harvested very much. May be a tenth. Doesn't matter. Over the next days the cherries will turn almost to black and become even sweeter.
