terns with babies

Spent the day trying to get my head round the idea that for the first time since I started school, I don't have to be somewhere, nor do I have to answer to anyone. :-] I'm sure I'll soon get used to it.

Tottered down to the marina late afternoon - tried out lots of different shots with the new camera - the Ochils, close up of flowers, distant herons, and terns. I chose this one as it shows the babies as well as flying parents, and possibly it gives an idea of the level of noise/activity.

It is cropped but might be OK large.
