The Farm goes on

1st July 2016:

No matter what else is happening the farm just goes on.
This is the horticulture section where the guys are trying out new varieties of bean, both local and imported. We are always interested in finding local varieties of all plants, as those have survived and adapted in this climate and try to re-awaken interest.
The real issue here is that Malawians leave everything on the ground and these are climbing beans and need support!!
Sow and neglect seems to be a motto.
We are hoping Blair (on the right) will make the difference.

Just a little update:
Rumour has it that we are spot on tracy to achieve 35000, improved variety fruit trees this year, even though our apple year ends in May
