Chocolate Cake with strawberries

Today an old school friend and her husband came to visit. She had fallen while on holiday in Barbados and broken her hip and there were lots of complications re the insurance company paying out for her treatment.  It was sorted in the end but it sounded pretty worrying for them.
It was a bit embarrassing when they had a bit of a domestic in my living room though!!

The blip is of the chocolate cake that I made for their visit.
  
Having people visit always makes me apply myself to the housework!
