Day 212 - A week in Wakefield Day 2

This is the County Hall in Wakefield. Its a stunning building. County Hall was built in the four years from 1894, being officially opened by the Marquess of Ripon on 22 February 1898. It is now owned by Wakefield MDC and is occupied by staff. The interior is as stunning as the exterior. With an amazing staircase and original features throughout.

More about County Hall!

Very busy generally this week so I'm afraid it will be quick photos to and from work. Havent really photographed many location in Wakefield but thought as its my first full week back in the it would be a great idea.
