Bikers to our aid

This morning a group of 50 to 60 Bikers headed off from Thurles and places farther afield to raise funds for our Wells for Zoe project in Malawi.
As with so many things the driving force behind this unique event was Jacquie Ryan and her family and friends, particularly Her dad Tom, a biker himself, owner of a smashing BMW bike and a brilliant ocean craft as well.
We were late arriving in this beautiful Drumineer Harbor village on Lough Ree and the river Shannon, but we were greeted with such warmth and friendship, that we were almost overcome.
The trip on the lake, a first for us was a unique experience and such a joy.
There were ho half measures as the BBQ and the food, later were anlo top class and again really enjoyed.
We are most appreciative to everyone for their support on behalf of some of the poorest people in the world.
Our Malawian friends will be so grateful.
