From Russia With Love .

Not a very active day due to reasons known. Good to deal with official matters .However couldn't go out so have been trying to keep upbeat whilst feeling like a prisoner ...What to blip .Here is a small work I bought in the Russian quarter of Paris ,many many, years ago . An enamelled plaque  of Saint Basil's Cathedral Moscow .
There is a little story with this .From early childhood I grew up with a best pal  D who went to be a Catholic Priest in the Jesuit order . He left when his theologian tutor was honest enough to say he was leaving the faith . D also left and became a Russian Orthodox priest.The day I bought this he was guest celebrant at the Orthodox church in Paris and we had a brief chat afterwards . Memories are held by objects found in other countries.....Have been to Russia many times and do find this  cathedral a wonderful sight .
