Day 184 Hat Fair - Bed in Winchester High Street

Day 2 and another serious theme.  An abandoned bed in the High Street, with a lady sitting up and knitting.  It was interesting that most people gave them a wide berth. Those who went and talked to them were delighted by the response and the stories.

Entelechy Arts got together with some people in their 70s and 80s to highlight the invisibility of older people.

I am in love with the pockets in the knitted blanket.  What an appealing idea.
