Soleil d’Or

These sunny little daffodils are blooming while only a few of the rest of the daffodils have broken ground. They’ve cheated a bit though. Their stems are barely 10cm long. They were bending with the weight of the raindrops. I had to lay the camera on the lawn to capture them.

Cold and wet. Feels like fresh snow on the mountains, but the clouds are too low to see. Yesterday I blipped the Nor’West Arch over the mountains, with dark clouds that didn’t bring rain.
