Slow Down, Slow Down

I enjoyed my recent excursion so much that I felt the urge to go for another. So, after breakfast and some piano practice, we set out for a nearby lake whose perimeter is just shy three miles. It was unusually cool for July, and fairly windy. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the breeze caressing my cheek, the thick, green canopy dancing above us, and the gentle hum of the trees observing our progress, encouraging us to slow down and explore, urging us to stay.
