Gosh, a thousand entries!!! I am pleased and surprised.  Today's photograph was taken at the Brighouse Bay golf course which is a few miles from Kirkcudbright, although I wasn't actually playing golf, I was on a walk which was seven and a half miles long.  No wonder I'm shattered, but the weather was ideal, not too hot and with enough breeze to keep things manageable.
