Philadelphus (Mock Orange)

I always love this plant both visually and for its glorious fragrance.
We are lucky enough to have a new, well designed Doctor's Surgery, where I live which is surrounded by flower beds overlooking the village allotments and gentle slopes beyond. I snapped this whilst waiting for my Mum-in-law, as I made the most of the sun outside.

Whist I was waiting, a message arrived from Jack to say that  he had passed his driving test first go; so we decided to celebrate with lunch at the local farm shop! The first time my M-in-L had been anywhere apart from hospital since her hip op. Celebratioin indeed!
