The Garden Party.
Well HRH was looking good in canary yellow
but as we were told NO PHOTOGRAPHS in the Palace grounds. Although that went out the window after HRH had had her tea and retired indoors.
The gentlemen with the longbows you see in the top blip are from The Royal Company of Archers. They are the Queen's bodyguard for Scotland and started in 1676. They use the Palace grounds for a competition in archery that is the oldest sporting trophy in the world for which there is regular competition.
It was a great experience to be there and the weather was kind to us and stayed dry.
Excellent day and we both enjoyed it but now home for a cuppa first then a glass of bubbly to round of the Royal day oot.
