Catstycam from Birkhouse Moor
A trip down to Patterdale today, to do two new Wainwright's - Arnison Crag, and Birkhouse moor. Effectively two separate walks, I covered about 8 - 9 miles, and the two fells were 1421 and 2356 feet respectively, so a fair bit of climbing as well; particularly on Birkhouse moor, where Wainwright's book described the "ridge route" as the most interesting - it wasn't particularly easy, and by the end of the day I was feeling pretty whacked.
169/214 completed though.
