Full blown

I picked a few roses and sweet williams for the kitchen table - this one is certainly full blown, but still lovely!!
Busy morning catching up with phone calls and emails (my new role as president of the village WI is keeping me on my toes!).
More wonderful tennis - and a very enjoyable Bookclub too with a delicious tea, of course! We discussed an autobiography of Maggie Smith, but none of us felt that her personality came through!  It was more of a catalogue of all the plays and films in which she has starred - disappointing!
Now a break until September, so we can all read some of the books we have all got piled up at home!
