A Dolphin Adventure
Today we took the grandkids to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Moira and I have been several times to see Winter. The dolphin that the center rescued and rehabilitated with a Prosthetic tail. Our visit this morning was Gavin and Dave's first time at the Aquarium. The kids loved touching the stingrays and watching the sea turtles being feed. Gavin noticed that Winter had no tail as soon as he saw the dolphin. He thought it was very funny to see a trainer pour water into the dolphins mouth with a watering can! My extra photo is of the four of us on the boat as we took a ride across the harbor to see the additional exhibits on the movie Dolphin Tale. After three hours, the kids were tired and hungry (so were we!). We stopped for lunch at a favorite place on the beach for some grouper sandwiches. A perfect end to our Dolphin Adventure. There are a couple of more photos of the morning on flicker.
