Mid-winter swim

A big day today....

Year 10 WGT performance day - the final performance for students who have been working on their group dances for a few weeks.  Some definitley better than others but no mistaking the huge buzz of adrenalin-mixed-wth-relief from everyone when they came off the performance area having stepped - in many, many cases - w-a-y beyond their comfort zones!  

This event was barely through before we headed out to the pool for the annual mid-winter swim.  The sun may have been shining but it was a very cool air temperature for the 50-odd hardy souls who entered into the spirit of the event.

A real pity I can't post faces as there were some pearlers!  I'm in full admiration of everyoen who did it :)
