Out and About

This afternoon I went out on my bike, not with a definite destination in mind but just to see where I might end up. It was a little drizzly but not so that I felt wet or cold. I cycled past the site of the new hospital and marvelled at the way the cycle path stops just short of it, forcing cyclists to cross some busy roads to get there (and in fact a truck was parked in the cycle lane at one point).
The rest of my ride was on cycle paths and quiet rural roads, to Shawhead and back home. I saw more cows and sheep than people. I really should do this more often, cycling just for the pleasure of it.

This has absolutely nothing to do with cycling  but it keeps popping up on Facebook, and I like it.
