A Hare's Whisker
I've often heard the phrase "by a hare's whisker" but this is the first time I've photographed some hare's whiskers (they are there if you look "large").
Before we left Yorkshire we went on a quick foray - and this HUGE hare was sitting right out in the open, next to an outcrop of rocks. At one stage he tried unsuccessfully to climb the rocks and then gave up. He sat and stared at us for a while and then beat a slow retreat up the bank and away over the top.
I'm still in catch-up mode. Nearly there, but I've been working all day, and then spent about an hour and a half showing the accounts for our local village hall to my successor (as Treasurer). Just finished and it's time to sit down - and get today's blip of course!
