Burrowing Owl

We spent the morning at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Reserve. It's quite a mouthful, and quite the place--formerly a chemical weapons factory and now a fully cleaned up wildlife park. The buffalos mostly eluded us (though we saw two), but the pelicans, prairie dogs, and belted kingfishers kept us happy. And this owl too.
