Day 6: East Sussex

A bus from Hastings will take you all the way to Dover, and it is a frequent service, so I took the opportunity to treat myself to a walk. I got off at Lydd and walked to RSPB Dungeness, a place I've always been keen to visit. I then caught a bus to Dover, had another wander, the doubled back to Folkestone where I'm staying tonight. Tomorrow, one last bus journey to Canterbury where I'll catch a train home.
I 've managed to complete my challenge with just one glitch due to a strike in Dorset. I've enjoyed it very much and, as was the intention, I've seen many parts of the country for the first time. Of course of course it was very much a whistle-stop tour (or whatever the equivalent bus expression is) but I've got some ideas of which places I'd like to return to at my leisure.
I've been suffering a little bit from bird blip withdrawal symptoms, so it was nice to manage a shot of a Yellow Wagtail, a bird we seldom get at home.
