Cloud chamber experiment

After a morning of particle physics theory, this afternoon we got hands on! In the S'Cool Lab we build cloud chambers to make the normally invisible particles visible, with materials you can quite easily get as a school (plastic fish tank, vilt, metal plate, dry ice, high % alcohol and torches).
