Snipe on a tank trap
Biding our time in Reykjanes before the flight back to the UK.
Alaskan Lupins are everywhere - planted to stabilise the volcanic ash fields, they are now common having self-seeded all over the place. They leave nitrogen in the soil and are gradually being replaced by trees - Iceland is very gradually being reforested ... just come back in 100 years.
Sorry about the rear view. I guess it would have been cleaner on the other side.
