Hanging on

An autumn survivor in the middle of winter. 

A welcome splash of colour on these dim dark days.

And just to cheer up my friends on the eastern seaboard, a new rain band is coming through in a couple of days, so it'll be batten down the hatches time again.  We are expecting another deluge.

(So that those up north know what I am talking about, we always get weather a couple of days before they get it in the east, and they almost always get it worse than we do).
