'Trash' Tuesday

Whilst I'm not a 'great' fan of Ms Atherton, one of our Labour Town Councillors, I would be amongst the first to acknowledge the benefits she has brought to the local community.
One of these is the 'Black Kerbside Bag' for household rubbish. Made of a canvas type material the theory is simple, during the week you bag your rubbish in the normal black plastic bags, these are then placed in the 'Black Kerbside Bag' for collection if using theses bags seagulls, cats, foxes & badgers are then unable to get at your food waste.
It appears that these instructions are way too difficult for some people in the community to follow, Tuesday mornings brings a cacophony of noise as the seagulls tear the unprotected black plastic bags apart and strew the contents everywhere.
Noisy and unhygienic.
