Had a lovely morning out painting a view of a local farm. A lovely jumble of rooves, some corrugated iron and some slate barns. The heat in the field was wonderful whilst there was actually not much prolonged sunshine.  Sort of perfect for outdoor painting infact.  Also helped by the fact that l had the sun behind me which means any shadow fell on my paper which in turn meant that l wasn't blinded from the white paper each time l looked down !!
Now the long wait.. a delivery due between 2 and 9pm..had hoped it would arrive nearer 2 but.. no sign of it yet!
