Frog in the garden

I was surprised to see a frog in the garden today. We have been having a heat wave lately and very little rain. I do have a plate of water out for the toads and I do water the garden in the evening so I guess he was attracted to the damp garden. We do get a number of toads but the frogs need to be near water and we have a big field in front of our place before you reach the nearby river and pond!
