Bowood 2016 #24 (Thursday 7th July 2016)

This is a screenshot of my Flickr map of Bowood, inspired by an observation I had when I last blipped from there. The blue blobs represent pictures that I've taken at that spot, the numbers indicate how many. I appear to have explored the grounds up to the boundaries quite thoroughly.

The 32 pictures taken near the bottom of the map were reached from the footpath outside the grounds (the two pictures bottom right were taken from the path).

I haven't been anywhere today (except Tesco Express).

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Pink Floyd - Jugband Blues (recorded 19 October 1967, London)
Syd Barrett (6 January 1946, Cambridge – 7 July 2006, Cambridge) died ten years ago on this day. Jugband Blues was the last song to be released by the Pink Floyd that was written by him. Syd Barrett, who would have been 70 years old this year, had been relieved of his Pink Floyd duties by the time their second album, A Saucerful Of Secrets, was released, but this composition of his from his last sessions with the band was included. Syd had hired members of the Salvation Army's International Staff Band and instructed them to play whatever they liked.
