Pigdog & The Wigwam

We all had a day off and headed off to Westonbirt Arboretum - a huge space, as you would imagine, full of trees.And quite a lot of mad dogs. We had our own  with us- Pigdog, a very characterful staffie who loves a big stick! Here he is looking slightly impressed by the coppiced branches of a possibly 2000 year old lime tree that has been made into a wigwam thingie. We picnicked on a large log, ate ice creams, walked miles  and it was most enjoyable. These are some branches of a coppiced beech, possibly 2000 year sold, that have been arranged into an artistic wigwam thingie.
