And in between ... invigilation.
I tell you - all manner of humanity comes through those gallery doors - and for some of them - art is the last thing on their minds.
Today's most bizarre.... a man who told me he died when he was seven down the local mine and he was reincarnated in a nearby pub. That his name was blue, he had sailed on a boat called the Apollo, that John Travolta and Nichole Kidman were on his side and took most of the flack, that he was a volunteer minister, would I read his pamphlet then pass it on to a friend.
Hmmm....
