Seedheads

Spent an uncomfortable day removing weeds from wheat fields by hand. These weeds are so closely related to the crop that the window when chemical control can be used is limited and sometimes patches slip through the net due to standing water or low temperatures. If this happens and the numbers are not to great hand pulling is called for! Arms sore back aches and more to come if there is not heavy rain :(
