Chocks away..

As it was a nice sunny day today I spent sometime after coffee on the patio observing the birds on feeder. For a time there was a greater spotted woodpecker at the nuts alongside a goldfinch at one of the grain feeder and I really liked their complementary colouring but did not have a sufficiently get a particularly striking image of them. In the end I decided to blip this wee dunnock taking off from one of the fir trees as his backlit wings are nicely set off by the darkish background
