EAT is the name of this food truck event!
And boy, did we! There were about 20 tents on a 3rd floor terrace of a downtown highrise. Great food and picnic tables and setting. The only difficult part was deciding what to have for lunch. My sweetie went for some fancy deepfried meat sandwhich, i went for a lighter Columbian vegetarian meal. We were stuffed and heading back to work when i spotted the famous Chimney Stax tent. These are deep fried donuts made as a tube to serve as an ice cream cone. It is placed, warmed, in a dish and filled with frozen yogurt and topped with brownies and chocolate sauce. There were a number of varieties and after 2:00 you can create your own flavour. I could easily go back every day and try all the flavours. Unfortunately tomorrow is the last day of this EAT event, and i will be off work. This is a shot of me not wanting to share with my sweetie, but not able to eat a whole one on my own. Off to spin class tonight (last one for the summer) and looking forward to having tomorrow off!
