Bright Eye

Morning clouds, a burst of sunlight and rainy afternoon made this day very changeable. I caught this spotted towhee with just the right light to highlight his red eye!
Last night a friend spent the night and we stayed up late talking and than I got up earlier than normal to have breakfast with her so I am tired and ready for bed earlier than usual. I sure hope I can sleep because I did fall asleep in front of the TV for awhile tonight.
So sad to hear of violence against police officers tonight. Too much anger out there. Frustration and fear abound.
