This picture tells the lie that we had great weather on our holiday and frolicked in the sea.

Just to be clear, we frolicked in the sea for a whole half hour at approximately 8pm because that was when the wind dropped and the sun came out :)

Twenty minutes after this picture was taken we had cold wailing girls because the salt water encouraged an eczema flare up :(

This half hour, till that moment though, was genuinely lovely.

Earlier in the day we visited the gloriously beautiful Machrie Stones and in other news, I succumbed to a poncho.

Yes. A poncho. I have bought an actual poncho.

My life is now complete.
