Determined opportunist

I spend my weeks in Cheltenham these days. The ex-hotel-soon-to-be-private-house next door to the flat has been in a state of renovation for about two years and recently they ripped out all the lovely old hedge full of blackbird, robin and wren's nests and planted laurel instead. Not even a variegated type, just lots of dark green boringness which will come to haunt them with the huge amount of work it will require once it has established (not that I'm bitter you understand...)

So when I noticed the opportunist interlopers taking advantage and climbing the railings today, it did make me smile a little.
