OPENING AT THE FEEDER
While the itty-bitty Hummer drank deeply,

I wondered -
How much can I blur those fast-moving wings while,
Keeping the head in focus.

I experimented-
Reducing the shutter speed below my usual at-least 1/1000 sec.
Focusing only on the eyes.


Surprisingly,
Her wings blurred to, a blip-worthy, silkiness.
Any-hoo, a little different look.
Remember, I don't want your eyes to glaze over.
