A Tipple
I decided to take up the challenge from Mr. Hobbs today (yes, raining again) and try a grog shot. I can't convey the frustration I have encountered! Firstly, I used a black background which lost the base of the bottle completely. Not enough versatility in my lighting or understanding of it to produce what I am aiming for. Here we have the red background but not as rich as I wished. So, about 100 shots later this is all I can offer, but am hoping Mr. Hobbs will pick up on it and guide me gently in the right direction! I can only say I am in awe of Mr. Hobb's way with this stuff.
The sherry/port glass belonged to my grandmother, is hand painted and is circa 1910. I felt it wasn't ladylike to put up a bottle of scotch, although I could now drink one straight!
