And, relax

To mark the first night of our summer holiday, we went for a stroll around the 'shire.
We don't travel until Monday, but I've finished work, and that's good enough for me.
Mrs M & I shared a bottle of wine to celebrate (I may have had the lion's share!).

The T in the Park music festival is also on this weekend. Until last year, it took place about a mile from our front door, which gave me the perfect excuse to go. Last year, it moved to Strathallan, which is still only 45 minutes away. Close, but so far away.

It's 3 days standing in a muddy field, drinking warm beer from a plastic cup, listening to music made by / for people half my age.

Yes, I miss it so much.
