Off on holiday today to start out multi stop tour of the east coast of USA.

Boy was today's journey long, 8 hour flight to Chicago where it took over an hour to clear customs and get out bag. This had to be rechecked and then change terminals. So we missed our connection! At least United were OK about it and put us on the next flight about an hour and a half later to San Francisco.

Once there we used the BART train to downtown and walked the short way to our hotel in Union Square. Totally shattered as been on the go about 23 hours. I was very glad of the bed and an earlyish night.
