Watching the tennis . . .
Mike had an angina attack this morning. Fortunately he was in the doctor's surgery at the time! Good planning! He'd had one during the night too and so it was off to hospital for him.
We spent all day there, Mike wired up to various monitors and having blood samples taken, but thankfully at 6pm he was discharged, with the promise of more cardiac monitoring to follow.
It was a long, stressful day, but we were very well provided for, with regular offers of cups of coffee, soup, sandwiches, hot meal at lunchtime if we wanted, free WiFi, tennis on the TV and a room to ourselves! Luckily I had also brought in a book for Mike and I had my knitting with me. It could have been an awful lot worse. The NHS is doing us proud! All's well that ends well . . . !
