Crepe Myrtle

Back to the flowers today as another extremely hot day. This beauty is a Crepe Myrtle, Lagerstroemia speciosa and is a species of Lagerstroemia native to tropical Southern Asia.
Nice to be able to photograph a very different coloured bloom as most of the plants were more pink. Hopefully birds again tomorrow. Thank you for your comments on my Lapwing juvenile, she is so grown up now!
