Eagle Pond: Little Eye Spots

I'm back in London after having had a very jolly week in Kent; I'll back blip pictures over the next few days... I posted a picture of the little Goosle before leaving, and visited them again today, so here's another "Goosle and Grasses" shot. It now has pretty clear eye spots!

I went back to Eagle Pond again later on in the day, but the Goosles stayed on their island, so I played with fast shutter speeds in the bright sunshine: I photographed tufted ducks and coots. The coots were being very territorial, chasing each other and moorhens.
